Small Farm Yarn

This line of yarn is made from fleece that I've purchased directly from farmers and had processed by mini-mills.  It's made in small batches, sometimes on a per-fleece basis.  The yarn is spun semi-worsted, meaning that it was carded, then spun without twist in the drafting zone.  But what does that all mean?  It may not be perfectly consistent throughout - it's like a cross between millspun and handspun.  But it's exceptionally lofty and bouncy and working with it feels almost as good as working with my own handspun.  Please note that a few pieces of clean grass or hay may be present in the yarn - it's been minimally processed using only soap and water for washing.
